Great for those who enjoy learning with others. Topics range from traditional bookbinding techniques to modern creative binding.

Open studio access
If you have attended one of my workshops and completed the safety introduction, you can use the studio independently (small fee applies).
Bring your own materials or use mine (billed separately) — most tools are available to you, and I am happy to help when needed. If you would prefer full support throughout your project, a private session is ideal.

limp leather binding
a limp leather binding (can also be done with paper/wallpaper/fabric) is a medival binding technique where the pages are stitched directly onto the cover material.
The stitching on the spine can be minimalistic or ornamental and there are various ways to close the book.
I show various examples of how a finished book can look and everyone can make a book exactly to their liking.

rebind your favourite book
we are rebinding your favorite (hardcover) book!
We can do a decorated book edge, play with materials and ways to decorate the spine.
It is helpful when you already have a vague idea how you want the book to look!

we are decorating paper in all kinds of ways and techniques; paste paper, sprayed with and without stencils, shibori paper, working with watercolours and offset printing ink, mixing and matching and seeing where inspiration takes us.

Box making
we are making boxes according to your needs and exactly to meassure!
Covered in bookbinding cloth and paper, with a lid or without, and there is the possibility to upgrade to metal hardware.
Its helpful if you know what you want to put in it so the size fits the purpose!

make your own planner/address book/ 5 year diary etc
Now is your chance to work on some christmas presents/ something for yourself!
I have printed book blocks for address books/calendars/5 year diaries and so on, and you get to make covers for and finish TWO of your choosing!
The books can be enhanced with hot foilingy, bookmarks and pockets inside to keep loose pages and mementos.
